Profile

As our product manager, you will be working in close collaboration with suppliers as well as customers, which means that you will need to have a solution driven mindset and be responsible for the customers’ products during the complete life-cycle. You are commercially driven and enjoy working close with customers. You will handle both technical and sales tasks but also customer relations.

We think that you have an engineering degree, probably in Computer Science or Electronics Design. You probably have a few years of experience working directly with international customers or international sales and have experience in working with cellular and ethernet sales. However, for this role the most important thing is that you are goal oriented, responsible, driven and comfortable in making decisions. You have great integrity and can stand up for yourself and the company and have the courage to say no, even in stressful situations.

You are a good communicator in English, and you understand that different target groups understand different messages.

Responsibility

As a Product Manager you will belong to a Product line within business unit Anybus at HMS, you are responsible for the full life cycle and business case of the product at BU Anybus. This includes:

  • Support customer contact inhouse
  • Highlight user cases for the products, so it brings clear customer value
  • Support our Market Units in discussions with customers
  • Assess/Maintain/Improve the products during the life-cycle, both technically and finical
  • Product Life Cycle management
  • Project planning, calculations and pricing
  • Driving customer issues internally
  • Follow-up on projects and product sales figures
  • Budget and follow-up
  • Manage relations with suppliers
  • Work-planning for Product Engineers
