At HMS Industrial Networks, we value the tremendous contributions of our employees, and we recognize that it is our people that make HMS successful. We work hard to maintain our vibrant, innovative, and welcoming culture, and we strive to support our staff as they grow and develop both personally and professionally.
At HMS Networks, we are exploring how AI can help us better understand what our customers actually need. We have already built a proof of concept that uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract valuable market signals from customer interactions and transform unstructured text into actionable insights for Product Managers.
Now we want to take the next step.
For this thesis project, you will help turn a promising AI proof of concept into a robust, automated solution that can become part of our daily product management workflow. This is an opportunity to work with real-world AI applications, production-grade software engineering challenges, and data from global industrial technology markets.
In this Master's Thesis project, you will help transform an existing AI proof of concept into a scalable and automated solution that can be integrated into HMS's system landscape.
The solution uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract valuable market insights from customer interactions and other unstructured data sources. Your focus will be on designing and implementing a robust pipeline for data integration, AI-powered extraction, storage, traceability, and quality evaluation.
This is an opportunity to work with real-world AI applications, modern software engineering, and data-driven product management challenges. The outcome of your work will have a direct impact on how HMS identifies market needs and opportunities.
You are pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, AI, or a related field.
You have experience with Python and an interest in building software solutions that interact with APIs and data. Knowledge of LLMs, cloud platforms, databases, or data pipelines is beneficial but not required.
Most importantly, you are curious, hands-on, and motivated by solving real-world problems and turning ideas into working solutions.
