Are you in your second year of YH studies within System Development, .NET or a similar field, and looking for a LIA where you get to build real software, not just school projects?
At HMS Networks, we are offering an exciting LIA opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience in AI-assisted development of our configuration tools with a security-first mindset in a real product development environment.
If you are looking for an LIA where you can grow as a developer, work in a professional team and gain experience from real product development, this could be the right opportunity for you.
During your LIA, you will become part of one of our R&D teams within the Industrial Network Technology division, where we develop and maintain software tools that support our global product ecosystem.
Your focus will be on AI-assisted development of our configuration tools that are actively being evolved to meet new technical demands, including future security-related requirements and modernization needs.
In practice, you will be involved in:
This is a hands-on internship where you will actively contribute to ongoing development work, not just observe it.
You will gain experience in real-world product development, secure software thinking, and collaborative teamwork with code reviews and evolving requirements - bridging the gap between education and professional software development.
You are currently in the final phase of your studies within System Development, .NET, or a similar YH program, and are looking for an internship where you can apply your skills in practice..
We don’t expect you to be fully experienced - this is a learning opportunity, but we hope you bring:
What matters most is that you are passionate about system development and motivated to grow in a real development environment.
Since you will work in an international environment, good communication skills in both Swedish and English are important.
At HMS Networks, we develop technology that helps industries around the world become more connected, productive and sustainable.
Alongside our hardware and communication solutions, software plays a key role in making our products usable, configurable and future-ready. This means our development teams are constantly working on improving and evolving digital tools that are used in real industrial environments worldwide.
For you as a student, this is an opportunity to join a global tech company where software development is taken seriously, and where you can learn how real products are built, maintained and improved over time.
With colleagues in more than 20 countries and headquarters in Sweden, HMS offers an international and collaborative environment where learning and development are part of everyday work.
This is a place where your LIA can become the start of your journey as a professional developer.
