We drive efficiency, innovation, and growth by providing robust IT infrastructure, end user support, and continuously evolving business applications and data capabilities.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As Business Applications & Data Manager at HMS, you lead and empower the team responsible for our business‑critical applications and data platforms. Your focus is to create a thriving, collaborative environment where people feel ownership, clarity, and purpose.

Your team ensures that our enterprise systems – such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and Customer Insights, as well as our CMS, PIM and eCommerce platform – run reliably, securely, and in line with business needs. They also ensure accessible, secure and well‑governed data through our global data platform, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI, as well as stable integrations across the system landscape.

Your mission is to create an environment where the team thrives, collaborates effectively, and consistently delivers real business value through clear goals, measurable KPIs, and strong stakeholder engagement across the organization.

You will:

  • Build, motivate and develop a high‑performing team with clear ownership and direction.
  • Act as a connector between business and IT, ensuring alignment from senior management to operational teams.
  • Prioritize and structure work so the team can deliver predictable outcomes without unnecessary stress
  • Communicate openly and proactively, creating clarity and trust among stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor team members to grow their skills, confidence and collaboration.
  • Ensure our applications, data initiatives, and integrations deliver measurable business value – not only technical output.
  • Manage vendor relationships, agreements, and performance follow‑up.
  • Oversee budgets and cost control to ensure value from our investments

While the team owns the technical depth, you create the conditions, focus and collaboration needed for their success.

ABOUT YOU

You are an inclusive, approachable leader who believes that strong teams outperform strong individuals. You build trust, create clarity, and help people work together toward shared goals. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and thrive in complex, international environments.

You bring solid experience from enterprise‑grade ERP and CRM landscapes, ideally in global organizations where processes span multiple countries. Experience with the Dynamics 365 suite is a strong advantage and will help you quickly understand our ecosystem.

You thrive when you support people’s success, create alignment, bring clarity to complexity, and foster collaboration and shared ownership.

You bring:

  • Proven leadership experience and a passion for building positive, high‑performing team cultures
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skills
  • A background working with ERP/CRM platforms in global companies with cross‑country processes
  • Experience in vendor management, including contracts and performance follow‑up
  • Confidence in budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight
  • A collaborative, pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to bring direction and structure in a changing environment
  • Fluency in English
  • A relevant academic degree within IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience from manufacturing or other complex, process‑driven industries
  • Hands‑on experience with large‑scale Dynamics 365 implementations or continuous improvement
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
