HR Business Partner HMS China

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support and develop our Market Unit in China. In this role, you will work closely with the China management team and play a key part in shaping our people agenda, while ensuring strong and compliant HR operations across the region. With approximately 25 employees in China, this is a broad role offering both strategic influence and hands-on responsibility.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this dual role, you will combine strategic HR partnership with operational HR leadership for Market Unit China. Acting as a trusted advisor to the China leader, you will translate business objectives into effective people strategies while ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day HR operations.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for HR in China and serve as the local HR point of contact, while also collaborating with global HR colleagues.

- Partnering with the China management team to align HR initiatives with business goals and market needs.
- Driving workforce planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
- Coaching manager to strengthen leadership capabilities and support team performance.
- Managing end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
- Overseeing compensation & benefits, HR metrics, and continuous improvements in HR processes.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced HR professional who thrives in a broad role that blends strategic influence with operational execution. You bring a strong understanding of HR practices in China and are confident working with senior leaders, managers, and employees across the organization.
We believe you have...
- At least 5 years of experience in HR, combining HR Business Partnering and HR management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of China employment law, HR policies, and people processes.
- Proven ability to build trust, influence decisions, and navigate complex people matters.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
- The ability to balance long-term planning with effective day-to-day HR operations.
