At HMS Industrial Networks, we know our people are the key to our success. We take pride in nurturing a culture that’s inclusive, curious, and welcoming – where every employee is supported in growing both personally and professionally.

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support and develop our Market Unit in China. In this dual role, you will combine strategic partnership with hands-on HR leadership, playing a key part in shaping our people agenda and supporting the continued growth of HMS in the region. With approximately 25 employees across China, this is a unique opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term organizational development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this dual role, you will combine strategic HR partnership with hands-on HR management to support the growth and operational excellence of Market Unit China. You will work closely with the China leadership team to ensure that HR initiatives align with business needs, while also overseeing all core HR processes in the region.

Key responsibilities include...

  • Partnering with leaders to translate business goals into effective HR strategies.
  • Driving workforce planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
  • Coaching managers to strengthen leadership capabilities and support team performance.
  • Managing end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Overseeing compensation & benefits, HR metrics, and continuous improvements in HR processes.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced HR professional who thrives in a broad role that blends strategic influence with operational execution. You bring a strong understanding of HR practices in China and are confident working with senior leaders, managers, and employees across the organization.

We believe you have...

  • A solid background (5+ years) in HR Business Partnering and HR management, ideally in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of China employment law, HR policies, and people processes.
  • Proven ability to build trust, influence decisions, and navigate complex people matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • The ability to balance long-term planning with effective day-to-day HR operations.
