At HMS Industrial Networks, we value the tremendous contributions of our employees, and we recognize that it is our people that make HMS successful. We work hard to maintain our vibrant, innovative, and welcoming culture, and we strive to support our staff as they grow and develop both personally and professionally.

HMS is a vibrant and forward-thinking technology company dedicated to fostering innovation within information and communication technology.

We are currently seeking a driven and forward-looking Production Manager to join our factory in Halmstad – working both with the daily operation and driving the transformation of our production towards operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity for you, as a professional seeking to grow into a broad role with a wide range of responsibilities in an international environment. HMS is a fast-pased company and with this comes the possibilities to grow with and within the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join HMS as a Production Manager and take on a key leadership role at our Halmstad factory. In this position, you will lead our production team in our final assembly and inbound logistics/warehouse operations. Your focus will be on supporting your team to perform at their best while driving improvement and development initiatives across our production processes.

As part of the factory’s management team, you will contribute to shaping the strategic direction of our operations and work continuously to enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration. This is a dynamic role where strong leadership, innovation, and an improvement mindset is key to success.

In this role, you report directly to the Operations Manager and have a unique opportunity to influence and develop one of HMS’s core production units.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in the role, we believe you are driven and structured, with a strong passion for people and production. You have an eye for identifying areas of improvement and the determination to turn those insights into concrete actions. With previous experience in production management, you’re confident in leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives based on lean principles.

You are motivated by developing both people and processes, and you enjoy working in an environment where change and innovation are encouraged. While a relevant university degree is a plus, it’s not a requirement − your mindset and experience are what truly matter.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement
  • Ability to plan, organize, and optimize daily operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
