We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Product Manager to lead the development of custom products and engineering services. In this role, you’ll work closely with sales, R&D, and product teams to create tailored solutions that drive both customer success and long-term business growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about creating customer-driven solutions and fostering collaboration across teams? As Product Manager – Custom Products & R&D Services, you will play a key role in developing tailored technology solutions while ensuring our engineering services create value for both customers and HMS.

In this role, you’ll work closely with sales, R&D, and product teams, acting as a bridge between technical and commercial needs. Your ability to listen, understand customer challenges, and translate them into actionable strategies will be essential. You will identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring that projects move smoothly from idea to execution.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will influence and align stakeholders without formal leadership authority, driving collaboration and innovation. You will also focus on building strong, long-term partnerships—both internally and externally—to create sustainable business growth.

• Understand and translate customer needs into scalable product and service solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration between sales, R&D, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Proactively identify and resolve development bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements and balance short-term demands with long-term goals.
• Drive cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority, ensuring alignment and momentum.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.

You enjoy problem-solving and can quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks in development processes. You’re adaptable and comfortable navigating shifting requirements and evolving strategies, always keeping an eye on both short-term execution and long-term impact.

As a natural facilitator, you know how to influence and align cross-functional teams without formal leadership authority, ensuring that projects stay on track. You also have a talent for building long-term relationships—both internally and externally—creating trust and fostering collaboration for future success.

Your Background & Strengths

✔ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between teams.
✔ Experience in product management, solution engineering, or R&D consulting (5+ years).
✔ A proactive problem-solving mindset, able to identify and remove development bottlenecks.
✔ Flexibility and adaptability, comfortable with changing requirements and shifting priorities.
✔ Ability to drive cross-functional teams, influencing without direct authority.
✔ A strategic approach to building long-term partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
✔ A commercial mindset, with experience in pricing, contracts, and business models.
