AFU HT 2025 - Electronics and Computer Engineering Students

We currently offer an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a degree in electrical, computer, or civil engineering who want to complete their AFU (15 hp) in an innovative and dynamic environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a prestige-free working environment, where everyone wants to share their knowledge and help each other. Since we enjoy working together at our Halmstad office, you will have to be located in Halmstad or within commuting distance.
In our development teams at HMS, you'll tackle real technical challenges where your creativity and problem-solving skills will be key.
As an electronics engineer, you will work with circuit and system design, testing, and troubleshooting. This may include PCB design, micro controller programming, and CAD simulation. One possible project could involve testing and further developing an existing prototype design.
As a computer engineer, you will develop software primarily in C/C++ and Python, with some possible web development in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. One potential task could be implementing a RAG Chat tool that searches manuals and datasheets.
We also welcome your own ideas and suggestions for what you would like to focus on during your AFU.
