Our production site in Halmstad is the main site for manufacturing of our products, which are shipped to customers world-wide. We are now strengthening our Supply Planning team where we are looking for a Senior Supply Planner. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Supply Planning Team is a part of our supply organization, which is a collaboration between several different production and administrative groups, such as sourcing, testing, quality, and production development.

The Supply Planning team currently consists of 8 people. The team’s overall responsibility is to ensure high quality supply planning, enabling our Halmstad production site to perform with highest possible results.

Responsibilities

• Continues development and optimization of planning processes and related systems
• Documentation and update of processes and working procedures
• Regular communication with different stakeholders such as our Global Supply organization, our sales offices around the world, suppliers, etc
• Key Customer contact for communication around delivery plans, forecasts, etc.
• Drive improvements. You will be involved in continuous improvement projects and are expected to take an active role in these when it comes to initiatives, execution, and evaluation.

ABOUT YOU

As a Senior Planner within HMS, you have several years of experience within production planning, as well as skills from working in any of the most common ERP systems.

We believe that you have great analytical skills, and that you are motivated by organizing and creating structure. You are driven by optimizing, streamlining and maximizing, processes, routines and resources, in order to utilize available capacity in the best way possible. This partly in the daily production, partly through strategic and long-term development of the planning process through the entire supply chain.

You are used to working in a customer-driven business and are therefore aware that current planning may need to be revised. You realize the importance of being flexible and adapting, in order to meet the needs of customers.

You value good relations in your team and with other colleagues. You believe that collaboration is the most productive way forward, and therefore strive to be a good team player in all situations.

In this role, you will have many contacts - both in different HMS organizations as well as external, Swedish as well as international. Therefore, you need to be confident in communicating, in both Swedish and English, and easily adapt your communication depending on the situation and who you are talking to.
