About the Role

HMS is now looking for a Network Specialist to join HMS Global IT.

As Network Specialist, you will be working with a wide variety of tasks related to HMS network infrastructure and will report to the Head of IT Operations.

As Network Specialist, you will assist in the design, configuration, deployment and continuous development of all networking platforms used by HMS globally. Both maintaining existing solutions as well as leading future networking projects.

Remote/Hybrid Work (Travel to our HQ in Halmstad, Sweden will be required from time to time.)

About You

• Ideally, you have a strong technical background with proven experience working with both legacy and “state of the art” networking platforms.
• HMS has a complex, highly virtualized, hybrid system environment. Previous experience of this is meritorious.
• We believe that you are a structured and good at documenting your work.
• You are equally comfortable doing hands on work as you are planning future improvements.
• You have experience dealing with suppliers both from a daily operational perspective as well as during a procurement process.
• You have previous experience of working in a global environment with time zone challenges, language and cultural barriers.
• We think you are a positive, passionate person with a lot of energy to motivate both yourself and others.
• You are a great people person and a strong communicator.
