We are now looking for a Development Director to help bring Anybus products to the next level by passionately managing creative teams.

About the role

As Development Director at HMS Networks, you will be responsible for leading a team of ~60 dedicated engineers and working at the forefront of technology. You make the impossible possible by leading, motivating and constantly developing your team and make sure that we continue to develop outstanding products through increased agility for future growth.

You are at the frontline of the development process and make sure that goals are met, that the products we develop meet customer needs and that you actively support your team with operational duties. You always aim to take the team to the next level.

At HMS’ Business Unit Anybus, you will contribute with a helicopter perspective and provide the big picture to determine a course of action, you will be involved in innovation and business development, focusing on the commercial value of technology.

You report to the General Manager of Business Unit Anybus and you are a member of the Anybus Management Team.

Your team and you are based in Halmstad, but we offer the opportunity to work remotely.

Where your supportive leadership comes from doesn’t really matter, but you need to have experience from coding and software since that is how we create value.

We believe you have knowledge within, or experience from directing projects with cross-functional teams. Collaborating with Business Line Managers to create new products and solutions.

You are a strong leader with great communication skills, and the ability to plan operations tactical and strategically. By using your drive and your people skills, you network and create prosperous relationships both internally and with external stakeholders. You like challenging yourself and excel at thinking outside the box, always with a broad perspective of the business in mind.
