Who are we?
At HMS, we believe that connecting matters, in everything from making devices, machines and systems talk, to engaging actively with our customers. Our state-of-the-art technology connects millions of industrial devices all over the world — in automation systems as well as in innovative IIoT applications. At heart, we are still a small, entrepreneurial company – on our journey of becoming big, without losing our core value of innovation.
Who do we think you are?
We think that you have a strong business mindset, and that financial modelling is at the core of your interests! We are looking for someone who just can’t wait to develop our business – by analyzing different business models, evaluating M&A prospects as well as communicating on an excellent level with our management team and external contacts such as banks and due diligence partners.
We believe that you are at the start of your career and not afraid to take on a fast career track. You might have studied Industrial Engineering or Finance and have worked with management consulting, M&A or business development for about 3-5 years. You probably have a high interest for investments and know your financial toolbox – but if you think you are perfect for this role and have another background, we welcome your application!
What will the role be like?
The aim of this role will be to Support Group M&A activities as well as Business Units local M&A activities to enable HMS to scale up the M&A growth agenda. We think that you love a challenge and get excited by the idea of forming your role largely on your own. It is possible to work on remote. It may be enough to be in the office in Halmstad once or twice days a week.
In this role, you will have Joakim Nideborn, our CFO, as your direct manager. Watch this video to get a better idea of who Joakim is and a brief overview of the role here:
